WHEN WE FIGHT WE WIN Ice Cream Social and Upcoming Events

Dear Falls Church Democrats,

What an electrifying convention we had last week when Vice President Harris and Governor Walz accepted our nomination to be our next President and Vice President. We have 70 days to work hard to ensure they win. Now is our time to Do Something. Here's how:

FALLS CHURCH DEMOCRATS ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL IS LABOR DAY, Monday September 2nd from 1-3PM at the Cherry Hill Park Shelter. Special guest Rep. Don Beyer and others will greet Democrats from around the region. RSVP today to reserve your scoops.

DEL. MARCUS SIMON'S ANNUAL BBQ September 2nd from 4pm-6pm, 102 S. Spring Street in Falls Church. RSVP online.

HELP THE HARRIS-WALZ TICKET: Cindy Cunningham hosts a weekly text training and volunteer event at her house EVERY THURSDAY AFTERNOON from 4-6pm. Bring a laptop or iPad. We use special texting software that maintains anonymity and provides conversation scripts. Text voters in swing states as well as in Virginia. (There *may* be baked goods. ) Sign up and bring a friend.

CANVASSING If you would like to learn about canvassing opportunities for the Democratic coordinated campaign in Northern Virginia, reply to this email.

OUT for Harris Coalition Launch Party w/ VA State Senators Danica Roem and Adam Ebbin! Join us for our Virginia Out for Harris Coalition launch with leaders from across the LGBTQ+ movement to hear about what's at stake for this election! Allies welcome and encouraged to attend as well! RSVP here: https://www.mobilize.us/2024vavictory/event/664170/

KENNEDY-KING DINNER is presented by the 8th Congressional District Democratic Committee. On September 12th, join Democrats from around the 8th District. Show your support in this critical year and get tickets here.
