PRIMARY ELECTION
Virginia's Democratic Primary Election was held on June 8, 2021.
GENERAL ELECTION (November 2, 2021)
-- Request a VOTE-by-Mail ballot for this election on the Virginia Department of Elections website.
* SCHEDULE / IMPORTANT DATES:
-- September 17 to October 30: In-person early voting begins at City Hall; available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open two Saturdays, October 23 and 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-- Monday, October 11: City Hall closed for holiday.
-- Tuesday, October 12: Last day to register to vote. By-mail registrations must be post-marked no later than October 12. In-person registrations must be submitted to the Registrar's office by 5 p.m. on October 12. On-line registrations will end at 11:59 p.m. on October 12.
-- The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.
